-
What do I need to do to get the property ready before the shoot? From optimizing lighting to tidying up both indoors and outdoors, these helpful tips offer an essential guide to making sure your property is camera-ready. Click below for a handy, downloadable checklist.
-
Why is it important which direction the house faces? The ideal time to photograph the front exterior is when sunlight illuminates it directly and depends on the direction the front of the property faces: - East: Best photographed in the morning. - West: Ideal timing is in the afternoon. - South: Suitable for photography throughout the day. - North: Since it doesn't receive direct sunlight, north-facing properties may cast shadows on sunny days. For these properties, a dusk shoot or an overcast day is preferable to capture the best images.
-
What is HDR photography?HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography is included in all packages where noted. This technique ensures vibrant and eye-catching results, perfect for showcasing your property's best features. Additionally, HDR guarantees a clear and perfect window view, which is essential for listings with impressive views or large windows.
-
How long does a typical photo shoot last? Most shoots average between 45 minutes to 1 hour, but can run longer or shorter depending on such factors as the weather, how many photos are included in the package, and if the property has been properly prepped.
-
What if I can't be there? Not a problem! There's really no reason for you to take time out of your busy schedule to give me access to the property. You can use either a standard lockbox, arrange access, or provide a one-day code for entry so I can get in and do what I do. I always want to make the process as convenient for you as possible.
-
What if I have certain features I want to be sure are photographed (statue, waterfall, etc.)?When filling out your booking form, you will be asked for your "Must Have" shots. This information goes there.
-
What is your turnaround time for media delivery? All media is guaranteed to be delivered within 24 hours after your session is completed, except for packages shot on Saturdays. If your session falls on a Saturday, the turnaround time is extended to 48 hours.
-
How will I receive my purchased media? All of your purchased media will be conveniently emailed to you with a provided link for downloading the files. You can easily share these files on your local MLS and major real estate portals like Trulia, Zillow, and Realtor.com, or embed them directly on your website.
-
How does your referral program work? The referral program is easy and rewarding. Simply share your Referral Link with your colleagues, and once they book their first photo shoot, you'll each receive a $45 coupon good for your next shoot! Everybody wins!!
-
What if the weather is bad?If inclement weather arises, I offer a complimentary rescheduling option for the next available date. I typically suggest rescheduling if the property's main selling point relies on outdoor views. Alternatively, we can proceed with capturing interior shots as scheduled and then reschedule exterior shots at no extra cost for my next visit to your area. If urgency dictates, there's an option for expedited exterior shots for a fee of $50, which includes 1 image (single-exposure or HDR).
-
What is your policy for rescheduling or canceling appointments?Rescheduling or canceling appointments requires a 24-hour notice to avoid any fees. If rescheduling or canceling occurs within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time, a $55 fee will be charged.
-
Do you charge a travel fee?I cover the Greater Houston Area and beyond. Please refer to the coverage map for specific areas and their associated fees.
